Carbon steel flange is an important part of connecting pipes or equipment, which can ensure sealing and connectivity. Here is an overview of some key points:
High Impact Resistance Properties: Carbon steel flanges have high impact strength and therefore exhibit unique properties in terms of impact resistance, a significant improvement over solid pipes. Its ring stiffness is equivalent to 1.3 times that of solid pipes.
Neck flange: Neck flange is a part used for pipe end connection or equipment inlet and outlet connection. It usually consists of flanges, gaskets and bolts to provide a removable, sealed connection.
Pipe flange and equipment flange: Pipe flange is used in the pipeline system, while equipment flange is used to connect the inlet and outlet of the equipment.
Welded flanges: Welded flanges are usually solution heat treated, also known as annealed, to improve their properties. The temperature range is generally 1040~1120℃.
Measuring method: Before measuring carbon steel flanges, some preparation work is required. This includes sketching the alloy steel flange and numbering it for correct installation, ensuring tightness and connectivity. Stainless steel flanges can be threaded or welded, depending on application requirements.
